New Pop Up Restaurant Opens in London's East End

15 November 2014

Ely’s Yard — the big creative space behind the Truman Brewery where you can drink beer and eat food all afternoon — is hosting a “non-restaurant restaurant” called Deluxe for one month only.

We are delighted to have been involved in the creation of this restaurant, working closely with the client and contractor to ensure the four week build programme was met and the WOW factor successfully achieved. Click on our facebook page and share to see the time-lapse video of the build......

The concept of the pop up allows you to book tickets for a three-course lunch or dinner and at the end of the night everyone will be given a recipe card in order to allow them to recreate the food at home and a surprise will be revealed.

New dishes will also appear on the menu every week, as voted by visitors across the restaurant’s social media channels. On top of this, there will be three Tuesday evening wine tastings, and Deluxe will be donating proceeds from its food and drink sales to children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent.

The launch party in aid of the charity saw Fearne McCann and Jessica Wright from TOWIE, Anthea Turner and Nicky Clarke turn out to enjoy a feast of queenie scallops with ginger, chilli, cucumber, sesame and crispy noodles, tagliatelle with lobster and truffle oil and panettone bread and butter pudding with white chocolate custard.

Book a table for the big reveal…...but be quick!
