Old Folly Barn

An open-fronted barn, once used for stabling Shetlands and storing hay, was part of a larger farm before being subdivided. Permission was later granted for its conversion into a dwelling. The project involved extensive engineering work, including the construction of a basement beneath the existing structure, whilst maintaining the existing structure intact, showcasing the potential for transformation regardless of the scale of the undertaking.

Barretts Lane

This conversion was part of a larger development comprising six units, where redundant outbuildings were repurposed into dwellings within a courtyard setting. This transformation enabled the wider farm to continue its operations following a restructure and diversification process.

The Old Dairy

The old dairy, which had long ceased operations due to commercial viability challenges, was repurposed through this conversion. This approach enabled the owner to maintain financial stability, continue living in the adjacent farmhouse and fund essential repairs, while the independent access to the dairy ensured the retained property and land remained uncompromised.

Rose Barn

A redundant outbuilding was repurposed into a single dwelling, utilising much of the superstructure. Height restrictions dictated imaginative detailing to provide high quality interior spaces and setting, undertaken as a self-build project by the owner.

Home Farm

Total refurbishment of this farmhouse and an attached maltings, converted into residential. Being listed, a detailed assessment of the buildings fabric and alterations were sensitively carried out to save the structure and provide high quality spaces.
